Tonight marked the second-to-last episode ever of Teen Mom. It opened with Maci and Kyle planning what to do for Bentley's birthday and what would be better for him. Maci sat Bentley down to ask who he wanted to invite to his birthday party. Bentley even called Ryan's parents, who said yes, and Ryan, who didn't answer his phone. (A confused Bentley didn't understand the voicemail and asked Maci why he wasn't answering.
Farrah gave Sophia her gift of tiny little red cowgirl boots. She then told her mom what happened with Daniel on their trip. Farrah's mom told her she deserved a better guy and passed it off like it wasn't a huge loss.
Tyler visited his mom, and they talked about his recent counseling experience. His mom mentioned she was considering going to counseling herself, since she really having a hard time with not being able to see Carly. Tyler went back home and reported his mom's feelings to Catelynn.
Amber and Gary continued working on their relationship, and Gary gave Amber a tour of his new house while Gary's mom watched Leah. The next day, Leah went to school for the first time, so Gary dropped her off, and Amber picked her up. Amber had to drop her off at Gary's to sleep, and Leah threw a complete tantrum and told Amber she needed her, which broke Amber's heart.
Farrah took Sophia to the park and tried talking to her about going back home with Farrah's parents for a month. Sophia didn't seem to understand what was going on. (That will happen when you talk to a two-year-old like an adult). Later, Farrah went home and spent the night alone with Sophia, while her mom stayed at a hotel.
Amber went to Gary's house to talk about what to do. Gary told Amber that if he got custody of Leah, the no contact order wouldn't be an issue and CPS might leave them alone, so Amber agreed that he should file for sole custody.
Ryan finally called Maci back, so Bentley invited him to his birthday. Ryan said he would see what he could do, but he texted Maci minutes later to tell her he would be there at 7:00 to pick Bentley up instead. Maci told Kyle, and neither of them were very happy.
Catelynn and Tyler met Catelynn's mom for breakfast. They told April how Tyler's mom was feeling about the adoption and asked if she would be willing to talk to Dawn, their adoption counselor. April admitted she hadn't been very nice to Dawn, but she didn't reject the idea of talking to her.
Since Ryan wasn't going to Bentley's birthday party, his parents didn't attend either. Maci decided not to mention it to Bentley unless he asked first. Back at Ryan's house, he and Dalis sat down to talk to Ryan's parents about the situation. As always, they gave him advice on how to be the bigger person, since Maci shouldn't have put him in the situation and made it seem like Maci was the one in the wrong.
Amber's mom came over and looked at pictures of her new house. They talked about the idea of Gary having full custody of Leah. Her mom worried that Gary would keep Leah from her, and the two of them got into an argument, so her mom stormed out. (You would think Amber would learn that if all the arguments include her, maybe she didn't solve her problem in rehab).
Dawn went to Catelynn and Tyler's house to meet with each of their moms to discuss the adoption. Tyler's mom, Kim, was frustrated about not being able to see Carly, while Catelynn's mom, April, was more upset about the way she reacted to the situation. Dawn explained that there were ways for everyone to stay in contact without seeing each other.
Farrah dropped her mom and Sophia off at the airport and said her good-byes before returning home to clean Sophia's room.
Gary picked Leah up from school and talked to Amber about Leah's day at school before she told him about the fight with her mom…and then proceeded to get into another fight with Gary when he told her he was filing for custody of Leah in order for Amber to get her depression under control. She shouted at him and told him he and her family didn't go to rehab for two months or jail.
Ryan and Dalis picked Bentley up. Ryan asked Maci why she let Bentley call him without calling to ask him first. Maci explained that she asked Bentley who he wanted to invite and let him call who he wanted to. They went back and forth and just ended up in an argument, so Maci walked away.
